Dale L. McBride(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Dale L. McBride, 62, of Vigo Park died Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Vigo Park. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 27, 2011 in the Vigo Park Methodist Church with Mr. Gary Moore and Rev. Mark Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Vigo Park Cemetery. Dale was born December 29, 1948 in Plainview to Parker and Rosa Lee McBride. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1967. He farmed from 1973 to 1994 when he became a truck driver. He loved his kids, his family, his many friends and his horses but most importantly he was a proud “Papa” to his three grandkids. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Eddie McBride and wife Christal of Happy, his daughter: Sheri McBride of Amarillo, his mother: Rosa Lee McBride of Vigo Park, four brothers: Larry B. McBride of Paradise, Gale P. McBride and wife Jackie of Yuma, Arizona, Barton Z. McBride and wife Karen of Paradise and Lamar C. McBride of Vigo Park, three grandchildren: Damon McBride of Paradise and Christian McBride of Happy and Jacey McBride of Happy, five nephews and one niece and several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father: Parker McBride in 1976, his son: Jason McBride in 2001 and his brother: Gary McBride in 2009.
