Wilma Mae Noblett (Plainview)

Wilma Mae Noblett, 82, of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011, in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 3, 2011, at First Baptist Church ~ Family Life Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. A visitation for family and friends will be from 7-8 P.M., Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mrs. Noblett was born August 2, 1928, in Wheeler, Texas, to L.R. and Lee Etta Cruce. She married E.L. Noblett on December 25, 1945, in Cotton Center. He preceded her in death in 2003. Wilma retired from SPS after seventeen years of service and also worked for Meals on Wheels. She was a very loving and caring person who enjoyed all of the time she spent with family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Noel of Plainview, her son Gary Noblett & wife Marilyn of Miami, a brother, James Cruce of Plainview, her grandchildren, Misti Fisher & husband Michael of Midland and Shea Noblett of Memphis, Tennessee and her great grandchildren, Miles and Mitchel Fisher of Midland. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, Mike Noblett, her brothers, M.T. Cruce and Bo Cruce and her sisters, Odessa Scribner, Wanda Standerfer and Doris Harper.
