Tommy Ray Quisenberry, 61, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Edward Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 P.M., Friday, February 11, 2011, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mr. Quisenberry was born December 18, 1949, in Lockney, Texas, to Billy Ray and Bettye Ruth Quisenberry. He married Sandie Allen on August 25, 1991, in Plainview. He went to school in Kress and graduated from Floydada High School. He worked for Pioneer Natural Gas, the Police Department and the District Attorney’s office. He also worked at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s office and was currently working at the Wheeler/Formby Dept. of Corrections. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Sandie Quisenberry of Plainview, his children Melissa Huffhines & husband Mark of Hale Center, Rebecca Gloyna & husband Paul of Hale Center and Scotty Quisenberry of Plainview, his mother, Bettye Ruth Quisenberry of Plainview, two brothers, Ricky Joe Quisenberry & wife Suzy of Plainview and George Thomas Quisenberry & wife Betty of Floydada, five grandchildren, Blake and Emily Gloyna and Karson, Katy & Ky Huffhines and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Quisenberry.
