Linda Rae Bench Wilson, 62, of Plainview, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 14, 2011, in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6-7 P.M., Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mrs. Wilson was born August 21, 1948, in Plainview, Texas, to Billy Ray and Lily Elizabeth Bench. She attended school in Plainview. Linda went to Las Animos, Colorado for training to become a Chemical Dependency Counselor. She was a very loving mother, daughter, sister and grandma. She is survived by her two daughters, Kelly Brown of Plainview and Mary Wilson of Lubbock, her mother, Lily Elizabeth Bench of Plainview, one brother, Thomas Bench & wife Phyllis of Plainview, five grandchildren, Chance Brown & wife Megan of Virginia Beach, VA, Melissa Redding & husband Chance of Lubbock, Victoria Allen of Lubbock, Kendreck Brown of Plainview and Steven Lopez of Lubbock, two great grandchildren, Braeden Brown of Virginia Beach, VA and Lily Redding of Lubbock, two nephews, Robby Sheppard & wife Beverly of Plainview and James Bench of Plainview and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Bench and her younger sister, Betty Jane Sheppard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
