Joan "Jo" Weilhart(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Joan “Jo” Weilhart, 80, died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in Tulia. Cremation services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Cremation burial will take place in Oceanside, CA at a later date. Jo was born March 31, 1930 in Los Angeles, CA to Charles Albert and Margaret Wilma Moreland Weilhart. She was raised in the LA area and graduated from John Marshall High School. She joined the US Navy and served for 23 years retiring in 1973. She lived in Oceanside, CA for the next 33 years and moved to Tulia in 2007 to be closer to her brother. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law: Dick and Katy Weilhart of Tulia.
