Jeffrey Reyes (Plainview)

Jeffrey Reyes, 43, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Ron Brunson officiating and Richard Reyes assisting. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A Rosary service will be held Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Jeffrey was born on October 6, 1967 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Reynulfo “Joe” and Eva Reyes. He grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. He was a carpenter and he worked at Wal-Mart Disribution as a fork lift operator for over 15 years. He attended the New Covenant Church. He survived by his children, Johnny Reyes of Plainview, Brittany Reyes of Plainview, Jazmine Reyes of Plainview; mother of his children, Evelyn Voyles; his mother, Eva Reyes of Plainview; siblings, Linda DeLeon of Plainview, Joe Reyes of Plainview, Slyvia Reyes of Lubbock, Arturo Ortiz of Plainview; one grandson, Josiah Reyes of Plainview and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Reynulfo Reyes and a brother, Margarito “Mike” Reyes. .
