Totsy Nell Byrd (Plainview)

Totsy Byrd, 72, of Plainview died Friday, March 18, 2011 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 21, 2011 at College Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Don Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Kress Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00-4:00 P.M., Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mrs. Byrd was born on March 19, 1938 to Melvin and Lorene Hill in Buffalo Gap, Texas. She married C.R. Byrd on September 21, 1972 in Clovis, NM. She was a long time resident of Kress and Plainview and a member of College Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband: C.R. Byrd of Plainview; three daughters: Mistee Dorman and husband Stacy of Lubbock, TX, Dianne Hale and husband Cris of Houston, TX and Cindy Reed and husband Joe of Plainview, TX; one son: Rick Criswell of Olton, TX; two brothers: Jack Hill and wife Judy of Tulia, TX and Mac Hill and wife Ellen of Fort Stockton, TX; one sister, Jeanette Morris of Lubbock, TX; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter: D.K. Parker and one son: Lyndon Byrd The family suggests memorials to Childrens Miracle Network P.O.
