Tulia, Texas—Sherry Ann Adams, 57, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her home in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 26, 2011 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Tulia with Rusty Gray, pastor of Tulia Christian Fellowship, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Sherry was born October 31, 1953 in Tulia to Jr. and Margie Pool. She grew up at Claytonville and attended schools at Kress and graduated Kress High School. She worked for Atterbury Grain and Swisher Co-op Gin. She married Bobby Adams on November 10, 1989 in Claytonville. God put Sherry on earth for all little children. They loved her as much as she loved them. She could find something for children to amuse themselves with in the middle of the desert. Many times she would pull into a parking lot in Tulia and children would come running from all corners, yelling, “Miss Sherry, Miss Sherry.” Sherry had a forgiving heart, when people done her wrong she would forgive them in the next heartbeat. Her family includes: her husband: Bobby Adams of Tulia, two daughters: Amanda Nolen of Tulia and Alanda Todd and husband Josh of Tulia, her mother: Margie Pool of Tulia, her step-children: Raneta Patton of Dimmitt, Sha Ebeling of Dimmitt and Steve Adams of Lakewood, Colorado, two brothers: David Pool of Plainview and Andrew Pool of Amarillo, one sister: Rita Holland of Kress, seven grandchildren: Baylea Simpson, Riley Nolen, Rance Todd, Cole Todd, Rye Patton, Mandy Ebeling and Jake Ebeling, one great granddaughter: Braylynn.
