Lucille McEachern, 90, of Winnsboro, formerly of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel, with Dwight Martin, son-in-law and Chris Martin, grandson, officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation for family and friends will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the funeral home. Mrs. McEachern was born on January 11, 1921 in Weslaco, TX to the late Oscar and Minnie Watson. She married Weldon McEachern on August 6, 1938 in Crosbyton, TX. He preceded her in death in 1998. She was a homemaker and lived at Autumn Wind Assisted Living in Winnsboro, TX. She was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church and previous member of First Baptist Church and the Reapers Bible Study Group for over 60 years in Plainview, TX. She is survived by two daughters: Vena Martin & husband Dwight of Houston, TX and Patty Heflin & husband Louis of Alba, TX; one brother: Ed Watson & wife Pat of Portales, NM; four grandchildren: Chris Martin of Houston, Gennifer & Mark Roach of Houston, Rhonda & Tom Manning of Round Rock, and Kevin & Dana Heflin of Amarillo; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Oscar & Minnie Watson; two brothers: Oliver & O.A. Watson. Memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O.
