He attended schools in Memphis. He is survived by his wife: Gloria Zepata, his mother: Tina Gonzales, his father: Louis Garcia, Sr., one daughter: Maryann R. Garcia,, two sons: Louis Martinez and Valentino Garcia, four brothers: Willie Garcia, John David Garcia, Raymond Garcia and Ricky Garcia, 3 sisters: Rachael Garcia, Maryann Garcia and Beatrice Garcia, three grandchildren.
