Tulia, Texas—Odell Gregg, 92, of Tulia passed away on May 26, 2011 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Bruce Baird, pastor of the Central Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Odell was born on August 24, 1918 in Quitique, Texas to Arthur and Rosa (Morris) Gregg. He grew up around Silverton and graduated from Silverton High School in 1937. He worked for a Soil Conservation service after high school. He married Mary Love on January 12, 1940. They made their home in Tulia where he farmed and drove a truck. He later worked for Wrangler Feed Yard for 20 plus years before retiring. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Rosa Gregg; one brother, Odis Gregg; and two sisters, Alyce Lindemann and Zonelle Milton. Survivors include his wife Mary of the home; one brother, Bill Gregg of Springfield, Missouri; sister-in-law, Eleanor Dirks of Canyon; brother-in-law, Jim Ned Love of Tulia; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
