Katie Lee Johnson (Plainview)

Katie Lee Johnson, 90, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011 in Olton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Jim Ritter officiating. Funeral services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held Monday, May 30, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Katie was born to Roy and Lottie Carson on August 13, 1920 in Stamford, Texas. She married J.L. Johnson, Jr. on February 12, 1938 in Hamilton County, TX. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty six years, J.L. Johnson, Jr.; her parents, Roy and Lottie Carson; one son, John Roy Johnson; and one sister, Wanda Lee Croff. She is survived by two sons; Jerry Johnson & wife Sharon of Plainview, TX, Tim Johnson & wife Sue of Halfway, TX; one daughter in law, Margaret Johnson of Plainview, TX; ten grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
