Velma Kinser (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Velma Kinser, 87, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 in Tulia. Graveside services will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, May 30, 2007 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mrs. Kinser was born December 25, 1919 in Bogata, Texas. She grew up in New Castle. She married Aud Kinser on February 11, 1942 in New Castle. They moved to Tulia in 1963. She worked as a nurse’s aide for a number of years at the Tulia Nursing Home. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Tulia. Survivors include her husband; Aud Kinser of Tulia, two sons and daughters-in-law; Aud Marvin and Judy Kinser of Graham and David and Debra Kinser of Tulia, one brother; D.E. “Wink” Anderson of Clyde, three sisters; Lou Ella Isham of Muleshoe, Joyce Addison of Archer City, and Jenell Smith of Olney, three grandchildren; Daniel W. and Cherese Kinser of Canyon, Darlin J. Kinser of Denton and Todd Beck of Graham and one great grandson; Dathan W. Kinser of Canyon.
