Brent Hodges(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Brent Lee Hodges, 50, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in the Central Church of Christ in Tulia with Rick Bloodworth officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation of family and friends will be held from 6-7 pm Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the funeral home. Mr. Hodges was born January 16, 1961 in Plainview to S.A. and Frances Hodges. He married Linda Looney on October 7, 2007 in Tulia. He attended schools in Happy and Tulia High School where he graduated in 1982. He continued his education in Computer Analyses at Amarillo College graduating in 1990. Brent was active in his church and community and shared his faith, love and concern by using his talents to encourage others. He is survived by his wife: Linda, his mother: Frances Hodges, his brother: Ross James and his wife Tanya, aunts: Peggy Sudderth and Mary Sudderth, uncles: Melvin Sudderth and Don Sudderth and wife Danita, a sister-in-law: Connie Wilson, a brother-in-law: Butch Looney, his wife’s parents: June and Francis Looney, and a host of cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father: S.A. Hodges and a brother: Greg Hodges.
