Jose “El Vampiro” Guadian, 59, of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with, Rev. Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be recited on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 6:30 P.M., at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Jose was born on March 19, 1952 in Guadalupe, Mexico to Alfonso and Socorro Guadian. He moved to Plainview in July 1974 and worked numerous jobs in this area. He was known for his simple and plain lifestyle. He was a lifelong Catholic. He is preceded in death by his mother, Socorro Guillen. He is survived by his daughters, Vicki of Wichita, KS and Monica of Dodge City, KS; his father, Alfonso Guadian of San Benito, TX; his brother, Abel Guadian of San Benito, TX; his sister, Irene Valles and husband Jesus of Plainview, TX; and four grandchildren.
