Rudy Granado (Tulia)

Rudy Granado, 51 of Odessa, Texas, went to be with his Lord on June 11, 2007 at his Odessa residence after a long battle with Alzheimer disease. Rudy graduated from Tulia High School and after moving around Texas, he came to call Odessa home for over 10 years. He worked for TTHSC as head of the janitorial department until his illness. Rudy was preceded in death by his father Ladislao (Lee) Granado also to Alzheimer’s disease. Rudy is survived by Bill Williams, his life partner of over 9 years, Norma Williams also know as Mom 2; also surviving is his mother Elidia Granado of Tulia, a brother Jimmy Granado and his wife Anna of Tulia, 2 sisters; Paula Granado of Big Spring and Teresa Moreno of Tulia, Rudy has several nieces and nephews; Rudy, Michelle Granado, Natazia, Zabrina and Zabrian Granado, Samantha Granado, Vera, Ysi and Ida Moreno and Web Walker, not only his nurse but a close family friend. A rosary service will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 15, 2007 at Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Tony Neusch, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Odyssey Home Hospice of Odessa.
