Jermey Ellena (Plainview)

Jermey Bryan Ellena, 31, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in Crosbyton. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Garland Street Church of Christ in Plainview, Texas with Mr. Steve Gauntt officiating and Mr. J.W. Hamby assisting. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Jermey was born on September 19, 1979 in Lockney, Texas to Anthony & Debbie Ellena. He graduated Plainview High School in 2000. He worked for Aaron’s Rentals, was a cook at Rockin’ R Steak House and Furr’s. Jermey was a member of Garland Street Church of Christ. He is survived by his fiancé Ashley Hill of Plainview, TX; his parents, Rodney & Debbie Hearn of Plainview, TX; his daughter, Skyler D’Nae Ellena of Plainview, TX; three brothers, Brendon Hearn of Plainview, TX, Allen Hearn of Plainview, TX, and Steven Hearn of Denver, CO; four sisters, Heather Barcheers of Plainview, TX, Amber Machado of Dougherty, TX, Ashley DiIacova of Michigan, and Tina Hill of Denver, CO; and his grandparents, Waylon and Joy Johnson of Plainview, TX. He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony “Andy” Ellena; and his grandparents, Tony & Rosie Ellena, Doris Hearn and Helen Vaughn.
