Bill McBride (Plainview)

Bill McBride, 72, of Plainview passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 1, 2011 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Don Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. McBride was born to W.F. and Mary Jane McBride in Olton. He married Joyce Marie James on February 4, 1963. Mr. McBride served in the Army Reserves from 1961 to 1967. He owned and operated Plainview Hardware Company for over 26 years. He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church, Lions Club and several boards including the City of Plainview and the Chamber of Commerce. Mr. McBride is survived by his wife Joyce McBride of Plainview; two sons: Christopher McBride of Dallas and Timothy McBride of Plainview.
