Rita Sarver (Plainview)

Rita Sarver, 62, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 19, 2011 at Plainview Family Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Doug Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rita was born on April 15, 1949 to William and Vivian Word in Silverton, Texas. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1965. She married Dan Sarver July 3, 1965 in Plainview. She was employed by Larsen's, King’s Keepsakes, and O’Briens Frames & Things as a custom framer for over thirty years. Rita was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vivian Word; and two sisters, Lessie Blanchard, and Gail King. Rita is survived by her husband, Dan Sarver of Plainview, TX; two sons, Barry Sarver of Plainview, TX and Michael Sarver of Plainview, TX; one sister, Doris Marie Huckabee of Burkburnett, TX; and four grandchildren.
