Barbara Anna Davis (Plainview)

Barbara Ann Davis, 73, of Plainview, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Lubbock. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 16, 2011 at First Christian Church with Dr. Max Browning officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Barbara was born on April 28, 1938 in Memphis, TX to Vernon and Ann Pirkle. She married Harold Davis, Sr. in 1959 in Pampa, Texas. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Ann Pirkle; and one son, Harold Davis, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Harold Davis, Sr. of Plainview, TX; two sons, J.D. Davis of Liberty Hill, TX, and Glen Davis of Lubbock, TX; one brother, Joe Pirkle of Amarillo, TX; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
