Albina B. Hernandez (Plainview)

Albina B. Hernandez, 69, of Plainview, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the funeral home. Albina was born on December 16, 1941 to Estanislao & Felicitas Benitez in Sta. Catarina Puebla, Mexico. She married Antonio Hernandez in February of 1958. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Estanislao & Felicita Benitez; one brother, Artemio Benitez; one sister, Josefina B. Sanchez; and one grandson, Michael Hernandez. She is survived by her husband, Antonio Hernandez of Plainview, TX; one daughter, Hilda Hernandez of Lubbock, TX; seven sons, Guillermo “Willy” Hernandez & wife Olivia of Plainview, TX; Demetrio Hernandez of Anna, TX; Ray Hernandez & wife Debra of Ft. Worth, TX; Tony Hernandez of Grand Prairie, TX; David Hernandez & wife Natasha of Euless, TX; Gilbert Hernandez & wife Dina of Grand Prairie, TX; and Javier Hernandez & Lisa Cook of Plano, TX; two brothers, David Benitez and Conception Benitez; five sisters; Catarina B. Salles, Leonor B. Hernandez, Quirina B. Malaga, Margarita B. Suchilt, and Zenida B. Arana; and sixteen grandchildren.
