Bonnie Fay Love(Plainview)

Bonnie Fay Love, 94, formerly of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 in Georgetown. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Steve Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 23, 2011 at the funeral home. Bonnie was born on January 18, 1917 to Sid and Roxie Whitley in Snyder, Texas. She married R.K. Dude Love, Sr. in December of 1933 in Childress, Texas. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.K. “Dude” Love, Sr.; and her parents, Sid & Roxie Whitley. She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Mikeal of Iowa Park, TX, and Loretta Couch of Kilgore, TX; five sons, Robert Love of Clovis, NM, Wayne Love of Childress, Don Love of Lubbock, Tommy Love of Georgetown, TX, and Sammy Love of Amarillo, TX; one sister, Bessie Grimes of Amarillo, TX; seventeen grandchildren, forty-nine great grandchildren and twenty-four great great grandchildren. .
