Kirksye Cope(Tulia)

March 7, 2005 Tulia, Texas – Kirksye Cope, 75, died at 11:20pm Sunday, March 6, 2005 in Tulia. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Charles Davenport, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Cope was born December 15, 1929 in Tulia, Texas. She grew up at Wayside. She attended schools at Wayside and Canyon. She married Van Cope on December 22, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico and he died December 17, 1985 in Tulia. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She owned and operated the Lot-A-Burger for 15 years and C & R Dry Cleaners for 2 years and City Cleaners for 5 years. Survivors include: One Daughter and Son-in-Law: Marilyn and Brad Raymond of Tulia, Texas One Son and Daughter-in-Law: Jim and Eddie Cope of Tulia, Texas One Brother: A.J.
