Raymond Gomez, Jr. (Plainview)

Raymond Gomez, Jr, 52, of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Raymond was born September 30, 1959 to Raymond Sr., and Esther Gomez in Plainview, Texas. He married Janie Zambrano on March 25, 1980 in Plainview. He worked for Southwestern Grain for 29 years, Allstar Fuel and City of Plainview. He was preceded in death by his mother Esther Gomez. Raymond is survived by his wife, Janie Gomez of Plainview, TX; three daughters, Clarissa Gomez, Briann Gomez, Jullisa Gomez all of Plainview, TX; two sons, Francisco Gomez and Xavier Gomez both of Plainview, TX; his father, Raymond Gomez, Sr. of Plainview, TX; four brothers, Rick Gomez of Pueblo, CO, Adam Cuevas of Albuquerque, NM, Rudy Gomez of Plainview, TX; Gilbert Delbosque of Pueblo, CO; and one sister, Lucy Estrada of Plainview, TX.
