Leroy Vance Hill(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Leroy Vance Hill, 67, died Friday, November 11, 2011 in Olton. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 14, 2011 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with Bruce Baird officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Mr. Hill was born March 7, 1944 in Lubbock to William Henry & Eunice L. Hill. He graduated Valedictorian from Hale Center High School and was an Honor graduate of the School of Agronomy at Texas Tech University where he was a member of the National and International Champion Crops Team. Mr. Hill served in the National Guard for 6 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of Central Church of Christ. He is survived by one son: Ethan Hill and wife Weslyn of Lubbock; one daughter: Brandilyn Hill of Tulia; one brother: Hulan Hill and wife Judy of Tulia; one sister: Barbara Nutt of Floydada; sister-in-law: Bobbie Hill of Sulfur, Louisiana and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Memorial may be made to Runningwater Draw Care Center, 800 West 13th, Olton, Texas 79064
