Robert Cozbey(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Robert Cozbey, 87, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Dalhart. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 17, 2011 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Mr. Cozbey was born October 6, 1924 in Colgate, Oklahoma. He married Virgie Waldrum on November 23, 1942 in Durant, Oklahoma. He served in the US Army during WWII. He is survived by six children: Leona Smith of Pecos, Pat Scott of Tulia, Judy Leavitt of Tulia, Jerry Cozbey of Dalhart, Robert Cozbey of Dimmitt and John Cozbey of Tulia, 31 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Marion and Leona Cozbey, his step-mother: Lula Cozbey, his wife: Virgie Cozbey, his daughter: Barbara Ann Haught, two brothers: Wayne Cozbey and Jim Crawford, two sisters: Opal Carpenter and Lena Bohanana, a son-in-law: R. S. Smith, and two grandsons: Raymond Smith and Richard Smith.
