Bernice McPherson Jackson (Tulia)

Bernice McPherson Jackson, 76, died at 2:32pm Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at BSA Hospice in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, March 17, 2005 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Silverton Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson was born October 21, 1928 in Yuba, Oklahoma. She grew up in Arizona and Oklahoma. She moved to Happy in 1962. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters and spouses: Connie McKelvy of Amarillo, Texas, Mary and Chris Hodges of Vega, Texas, Becky and Brandon Crosby of Plainview, Texas, Terri Cox of Canyon, Texas, Donna and Sparky Stewart of Grover, Texas; two sons and spouses: Ricky and Diane McPherson of Happy, Texas, Milton and Nora McPherson of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers: James Butcher of Plainview, Texas, Dean Butcher of Canadian, Texas; two sisters: Ruth Brown of Bonham, Texas, Lois Zeigler of Silverton, Texas; 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren.
