Quitaque, Texas— Estelle Davidson, 90, died at 10:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 15, 2005 in Lockney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 19, 2005 in the First United Methodist Church in Quitaque with Rev. Glenda Johnson, pastor officiating and Rev. Richard Edwards, pastor of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Midland assisting. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery in Quitaque under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Mrs. Davidson was born March 18, 1914 in Wise Co., Texas. She moved to Hall Co. at the age of 5 and attended schools there. She moved to Quitaque in 1946. She married Jim O. Davidson on January 18, 1933 in Hall Co., Texas. He died in October, 1957. She had worked for Green Thumb in Quitaque for 23 years and she retired at the age of 85. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Quitaque. Survivors include: One Daughter: Lavada McCracken of Tulia, Texas Two Sons and One Daughter-in-Law: Jim and Clara Ruth Davidson of Quitaque, Texas Fred Davidson of Amarillo, Texas Six Grandchildren: Jo Beth Edwards, Ronnie McCracken, Jimmy Don Davidson Jon Davidson, Bonnie Davidson and Steve Davidson Eleven Great Grandchildren: Chris Edwards, Kevin Edwards, Kimberly Edwards, Travis McCracken, Garrett McCracken, Jenna Davidson, Willie Davidson, Deidra Kneupper, Macy Davidson, Molly Davidson, Mary Kate Davidson Two Sisters-in-Law: LaVernia Curtis of Olton, Texas and Billie Prater of Grandbury, Texas.
