Joyce M. Love (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Joyce M. Love, 84, formerly of Tulia, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at The Craig Methodist in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Helms, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A family and friends visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12 noon Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the funeral home. Joyce was born August 28, 1927 to Asa Lucille and Albert Andrew Cain in Houston, Texas. Joyce was baptized in 1978 in Tulia at Calvary Baptist Church. She worked in the Tulia Public Schools for 20 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tulia. She will be missed by all and we want to thank the staff at The Craig Methodist and Odyssey Hospice. She is preceded in death by her husband: Jessie Love, her son: Danny Love, one sister, two brothers and her parents. She is survived by two daughters: Joycelyn Clark and husband Mitchell of Amarillo and Marilyn Pitt and husband Larry of Amarillo, her sister-in-law: Colleen Cain of Durant, Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
