Don Carrol Hayes (Plainview)

Don Carrol Hayes, 74, of Plainview passed from this life on January 20, 2012 in Plainview. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Northwest Church of Christ with Mr. Hugh Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Carrol was born on May 17, 1937 in McKinney, Texas to Robert and Gertrude Hayes. He married Marcia Williamson on September 25, 1957 in Clayton, New Mexico. He moved from Gunter to the Panhandle area in 1949, living in Plainview since 1964. He was a self-employed insurance agent. He was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Marcie Hayes of the home; one son, Kojak Hayes and wife Cindy of Channelview, Texas; one daughter, Brenda Dianne Hayes of Plainview, Texas; one grandson, Eric Hayes and wife Elizabeth of Channelview, Texas; two great grandsons, EJ and Ethan Hayes of Channelview, Texas; one brother, Ron Hayes of Alabama; one sister, Melba Peacock of Colorado; and one sister-in-law Reba Hayes of New Caney, Texas.
