Norma Lou Webb (Plainview)

Norma Lou Webb passed peacefully at home with the love of her life James by her side on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Jonathan Wright (grandson-in-law) and Graddy Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Norma was the 6thchild born to John B and Della May Gaither on August 4, 1928. She moved to Plainview as a child from Carey, TX where she was born and started school until she was 10 years old and then attended Plainview Schools where she graduated. She married her childhood sweetheart, James Carter Webb, July 31, 1947 in Tulia, TX. They farmed and raised their children in the Plainview area. She was a member of the Garland Street Church of Christ. Norma is survived by her husband, James Carter Webb of Plainview, TX; two sons, Jimmy Webb & wife Claudia and Johnny Webb & wife Vicki all of Plainview, TX; one brother, Clarence Gaither of Plainview, TX; one sister, Nellie King of Amarillo, TX; six grandchildren, Coy Webb, Cody Webb & wife Erica, Colti Webb, Kristin Webb Wright & husband Jonathan, Jason Webb & wife Shay, and Nathan Webb; six great grandchildren, Tanner Webb, Jaxon, Harper and Trinity Wright, Rylee & Jess Webb; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
