Sarah Valdez Perez (Plainview)

Sarah M. Valdez-Perez, 28, of Plainview went to see the room that the Lord prepared for her in heaven on Sunday, January 22, 2012. Celebration service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father John Ohlig and Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Sarah was born June 11, 1983 to Raul and Angie Valdez in Plainview Texas. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. Sarah had many dreams, however, marrying John Emmanuel Perez on October 9, 2010 was by far the best dream come true for her. She filled Edgemere Elementary with laughter, and her indescribable personality touching the lives of students, staff and parents. Sarah was a life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she worked with the Youth in her High School days, again touching and being the hands and feet of Jesus. Sarah is survived by her husband John Perez of Plainview, TX; her prized possessions; daughter, Angelina Sophia Perez and son, John Eleazar Perez; her parents, Raul & Angie Perez of Plainview, TX; her grandparents, Julian & Pauline Aldaco; one sister Monica and husband Jesse Salas of Plainview, TX; one niece, Alexis Delgado; one nephew, Izik Michael Delgado, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
