Vigo Park, Texas—Gale P. McBride, 61, after battling cancer for six years is now at peace and out of pain. He died at his home in Yuma, Arizona on Sunday, January 29, 2012 with his wife Jacki and son James by his side. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Vigo Park Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Pittman and Rev. Gary Moore officiating. Cremation burial will follow in the Vigo Park Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Gale was born August 4, 1950 in Olton to Parker and Rosa Lee McBride. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1968. He joined the US Marines and served 4 years. Gale is survived by his wife: Jacki McBride of Yuma AZ, his son: James McBride of Yuma, AZ, his mother: Rosa Lee McBride of Vigo Park, TX, his brothers: Larry McBride of Paradise, TX, Barton McBride and wife Karen of Paradise, TX and Lamar McBride of Vigo Park, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father: Parker McBride, two brothers: Gary McBride and Dale McBride and a nephew: Jason McBride.
