Francisca Quiroz (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Francisca Quiroz, 83, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Jose Luis Moncayo officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Francisca was born August 13, 1928 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Marcelino and Concepcion Morales. She grew up there and married Jesus Quiroz. In 1953 they moved to Trenosa, Mexico. Mr. Quiroz died in 1975. She moved to Tulia in 1991. She is survived by her three children: Maria and Jose Perez of Tulia, Marcelino and Ophelia Quiroz of Pharr, Martin and Rita Quiroz of Tulia, nine grandsons, one granddaughter and 3 great grandsons. She is preceded in death by her husband and 15 brothers and sisters.
