Marvin Davis (Plainview)

Marvin Glen Davis 91, passed away on February 8, 2012 in Lubbock. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Davis was born on June 14, 1920 in Goldthwaithe, Texas to Samuel B. and Mary Elizabeth Thomas Davis. He married Oleta Ellis on December 20, 1941 in Levelland. She preceded him in death on March 13, 1984. Marvin is survived by one daughter: Trudy McBeth and husband Ronnie of Lubbock; one son: Mike Davis and wife Sandy of Lubbock; two grandchildren: Deanne White and husband Rodney of Plainview and Mitch McBeth and wife Jill of El Paso,four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. The family would like to express a special thank you to Bender Terrace and Hospice of Lubbock for their great care. Memorials may be made to charity of your choice.
