Barbara Griffith (Plainview)

Barbara Joan Griffith, 63, of Plainview, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 in Plainview. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 17, 2012 at Northwest Church of Christ with Mr. Dee Teel officiating. Interment will follow in Lockney Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the funeral home. Barbara was born February 26, 1948 to Hubert & Martha Griffith in Lockney, Texas. She was a member of Northwest Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Gwen Stewart of Stroud, OK; one son, Curtis Wilson of LaMoore, CA; her mother, Martha Griffith of Plainview, TX; one brother, James D. Griffith of Hurst, TX; one sister, Rita Gale Westfall of Buckeye, AZ; and five grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Hubert Griffith. The family suggests memorials be made to American Legion Post 808 P.O. Box 3399 Lubbock, Texas 79452.
