Chad Pennington (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Chad Pennington, 62, died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at his home in Tulia. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Larry Stewart officiating. Arrangements are by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Chad was born October 23, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas to Richard and Ruth Pennington. He moved to Tulia in 1999 from La Junta, Colorado. He married Gail Cheek West on December 1, 2004. He raised Brahams’s and horses. He loved playing with his grandson Kolton and he loved animals especially his dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Ruth Pennington. He is survived by his wife: Gail Pennington of Tulia, Gail’s children: Michael and Sabrina West of Canyon, Brad and Hailey West of Amarillo and Zachary West of Canyon, his in-laws; Mona and Donald Cheek of Boswell, Oklahoma, his brothers-in-law: Kevin Cheek of Gage, Oklahoma and Brandon Cheek of Skelleytown, his aunt: Jean Pennington of Minnesota and his grandson: Kolton West of Canyon.
