Tulia, Texas—Frank “Tub” Loftin, 94, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Ernie McGaughey, interim pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Frank was born February 22, 1918 in Swisher Co., to Henry and Viola Loftin. He grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School. He joined the US Army and served in WWII on D-Day and in France and Germany. He married Zane Crump on July 20, 1948 in Clovis, NM. He was a farmer and cattleman. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by two brothers: Ash Loftin and Vernon Loftin and one sister: Jayne Ford. He is survived by his wife: Zane Loftin of Tulia, his daughter: Wanda Love of Tulia and daughter: Glenda Crump of Tyler, four grandchildren: Kimberly Hunt of Ruston, Louisiana, Frank DeZane Love of Amarillo, Melva Zane Stephens of Bullard and Louis Clint Stephens of Tyler, six great grandchildren: Justin Hunt of Amarillo, Brandon Hunt of Ruston, Louisiana, Cody Love of Amarillo, Stefanie West of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Katy Edwards of Tyler and Holly Edwards of Tyler, three great, great grandchildren: Felicity Hunt of Ruston, Louisiana, Cash Hunt of Ruston, Louisiana and Cayden West of Jacksonville, North Carolina, one niece and several nephews.
