Louise Margaret Miller, 90, of Petersburg passed away on March 6, 2012 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Petersburg with Rev. Jesse Nave officiating. Burial will follow in Petersburg Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Louise was born on November 20, 1921 in Petersburg to V.T. and Edna Hildreth. She grew up and attended school in Petersburg. She married Haskell Miller on August 9, 1938 in Lubbock. She worked a variety of jobs including in the Petersburg ISD Cafeteria as a cook. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and many siblings. She is survived by her four children Jimmy Miller and wife Sandra of Longview, Jo Ann Cristoffer and husband Tom of Waynesville, Missouri, Billy Miller and wife Mabel of Crosby, Jan Edwards and husband Fred of Petersburg; one brother, J.B. Hildreth of Powell, Wyoming; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Memorials may be made to Petersburg Public Library or Petersburg Cemetery Association.
