Maria L. Villalon (Plainview)

Maria I. Villalon, 65, of Plainview passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at First Assembly of God with Rev. Vicente Villalon, Jr. officiating and Rev. Manuel Rodriguez assisting. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A celebration of life service will be held Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Maria was born on June 2, 1946 to Encarnacion & Cipriana Sepulveda in Pharr, Texas. She married Vicente Villalon, Sr. December 23, 1962 in Floydada, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God. She is survived by her husband Vicente Villalon, Sr. of Plainview, TX; her children, Vicente, Jr. & wife Ruth of Post, TX, Victor & Cynthia of Plainview, TX, Arnulfo & Irma of Lubbock, TX, Armando & Ilda of Plainview, TX, Betty Avalos of San Marcos, TX, Michael of Plainview, TX, and Daniel Villalon of Plainview, TX; six siblings, Pete Gonzalez of California, Josefina Galvan of Lockney, TX, Guadalupe Enriquez of Kerrville; TX, Joe Sepulveda of Kyle, TX, Encarnacion Sepulveda of Lubbock, TX, and Santos Sepulveda of Minnesota; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Encarnacion & Cipriana Sepulveda. The family suggests memorials to The Bethel Assembly of God, P.O. Box 872, Post, Texas 79356.
