Ruby Scott (Plainview)

Ruby Scott, 83, of Plainview passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Prairie House Living Center. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Ruby was born October 18, 1923, in Georgewest, Texas to parents Doc and Eva Millican. She married Francis Scott on November 22, 1941 in Paducah, Texas. Ruby is survived by her husband of the home, Francis Scott, three daughters Janice Walker of Plainview, Gylene Taylor and husband Mark of Pampa, Vicky Jackson and husband Bobby of Arvin, California, one sister Mozelle Morris of Amarillo and special friend Norma Jean Fish of Paducah. Nine grandchildren Doug Walker and wife Rhonda, Scotty Walker, Timothy Walker, Christopher Arp, Nathan Taylor, Duchess Saavedra and husband Stacy, Jonathan Taylor, Shawn Taylor, and Stephen Taylor. Eight great-grandchildren Zachary Walker, Ryan Walker, Jordan Walker, Braydon Walker, Madison Walker, Dylan Saavedra, Caydon Walker, Zander Saavedra. Four step great-grandchildren Kourtney Saavedra, Cole Davis, Alisha Davis, Shenandoha Jackson, and many nephews, nieces and church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Norma Jean, one brother Allen Millican, one sister Clara Haddon and one son-in-law Coy Walker.
