Robert "Bobby" Dean Griffin (Plainview)

Robert "Bobby" Dean Griffin, 56, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 in Plainview. Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Restlawn Memorial Park in El Paso, TX. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Robert was born December 5, 1955 to Charles and Alice Griffin in El Paso, Texas. He married Frances Bolton on June 22, 1989 in El Paso. He was a commercial truck driver for Farah Inc. for 10 years. Later going to work for Wal Mart, Inc. He was stationed out of Seymour, IN, New Braunfels, TX and later moved to Plainview, TX. He was a member of Garland Street Church of Christ. Robert is survived by his wife Frances Griffin of Plainview, TX; one daughter, Tina L. Taylor of Waskom, TX; one sister, Susie Austin of El Paso, TX; three sisters in law, Virginia & Charles Russell, Nora & Billy Johnson, and Claudia Smart; one granddaughter, Andi L. Rentz of Waskom, TX; one great grandson Jase Scott of Waskom, TX; one niece Amy Lyn Schultz; and one nephew Michael Austin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Alice Griffin; and one brother, William L. Griffin.
