Edna Drake (Tulia)

Edna Drake, 90, died Friday, April 20, 2012 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ed Soules, pastor and her son, Harold Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Edna was born October 15, 1921 in Mobeetie to John and Bertha Ruff. She grew up in Mobeetie and attended schools there. She married Woodrow Graham and after his death she married David Charles Drake on July 1, 1950. Mr. Drake died April 22, 1979. They moved to Tulia in 1950. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Tulia since 1950 and was a housewife. She is preceded in death by her two husbands: Woodrow Graham and David Drake, one son: Glenn Graham, two brothers: Homer Ruff and Beck Ruff and one sister: Vera Glenn. Her family includes her children: Harold Drake of Tulia, Brenda Shoemaker of Chouteau, Oklahoma, Margie Costa of Sacramento, California and Gene Drake of Ft. Worth, Three Brothers: Curtis Ruff, Cyrus Ruff and Richard Ruff, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandson.
