Epifania Vega (Plainview)

Epifania Vega 92, of Plainview passed away on June 5, 2012 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Most Rev. Bishop Placido Rodriguez, CMF officiating and Father Raymundo Manriquez assisting. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 8, 2012 at the funeral home. Epifania was born January 25, 1920 to Carlos and Juanita Vasquez in Reklaw, TX. She married Jose Vega on March 13, 1937. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2006. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She is survived by seven daughters, Felicita Vega of Canyon, TX, Amelia Sanchez & husband Raul of Plainview, TX, Teresa Machala & husband Edward of Dallas, TX, Juana Vega of Canyon, TX, Isabel Vega of Amarillo, TX, Maria F. Smith of Amarillo, TX, and Beatris Vega of Lubbock, TX; four sons, Jose Vega, Jr of Plainview, TX, Manuel Vega & wife Debbie of Canyon, TX, Carlos Vega & wife Melva of Alamogordo, NM, and Alberto Vega of Plainview, TX; two brothers, Gabino Vasquez of Dallas, TX, and Macario Vasquez of Kaufman, TX; one sister, Eloisa Vasquez of Kaufman, TX; eighteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
