Troy Langston (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Troy Langston, 78, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Robert Anderson, pastor of Faith Tabernacle UPC officiating with burial to follow in Wayside Cemetery. He was born February 4, 1929 in Randall Co., Texas. He attended schools east of Vigo Park. He married Ann Price on April 5, 1952. He served in the US Army from 1953-1955. He was a farmer/rancher, as well as a metal fabricator. He attended the Faith Tabernacle UPC Church. Survivors include his wife; Ann Langston of Tulia, one son; Jim Langston of Tulia, one sister; Dorothy Richardson of Plainview, three brothers; Billy Langston of Plainview, Robert Langston of Plainview and Donald Ray Langston of Granbury, TX, one “adopted daughter”; Cherry Staria of Spooner, Wisconsin, 2 grandchildren; Monica Skierski of Irving, Jessica Vanwhy of Euless and 3 great grandchildren; Nicholas Langston of Irving, Karyzma Mason of Irving and Clare Jean Vanwhy of Euless. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Faith Tabernacle UPC Building Fund, 201 N.
