L.D. Stark (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— L. D. Stark, 87, died Monday, October 1, 2007 in Tulia. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 4, 2007 in Silverton Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Mr. Stark was born May 29, 1920 in Claytonville. He grew up there and attended schools at Price Community. He was a farmer all his life. He attended Rock Creek Church of Christ. Survivors include three bothers; Edwin Stark and wife Shirley of Claytonville, Argel Stark and wife Virginia of Kress and Bobby Stark of Tulia and one sister; Dathene Vineyard and husband James of Kress, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law; Frank and Murrell Stark and two sisters and brothers-in-law; Bernice and Alvin Stark and Louise and J.W. Rowell.
