Guillermo Macias (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Guillermo Macias, 74, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Tulia with Marcos Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Rosary service will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Macias was born February 10, 1938 in Karnes City to Manuel and Paula Macias. He married Maria Basaldua in May of 1966. He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit. He is survived by his wife: Maria Macias of Tulia; four daughters: Maggie Garza of Elsa, Lydia Simmons and husband Billy of Tulia, Priscilla Sanders and husband Boyett of Tulia and Christina Garza and husband Luis of Tulia; two sons: Danny Macias and wife Vicky of Tulia and Leroy Macias of Amarillo; one sister: Julia Beltran and husband Jose of Naples, Florida; eighteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
