Marjorie Northcutt (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Marjorie Northcutt, 84, died Friday, July 13, 2012 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, July 16, 2012 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Ernie McGaughey, pastor of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Marjorie was born November 15, 1927 in Tulia to Kenneth and Dollie Dalluge. She grew up here and spent her life here. She married D.J. Northcutt, Jr. on July 21, 1945. She loved raising her five children and enjoyed life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, D. J. Northcutt, Jr., who died July 20, 1972. She is survived by her five children: Mike Northcutt of Aledo, Texas, Ken Northcutt and wife Sandy of Missouri City, Texas, Roxanne Powell and husband Steve of Anton, Texas, Paulette Rask and husband Tom of Lubbock, Texas and Gary Northcutt and wife Stephanie of Missouri City, Texas, one sister: Bob Ellen Dalluge of San Antonio, Texas, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
