Don Grantham (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Don Grantham, 75, died Monday, October 15, 2007 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. James Hassell, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia. Mr. Grantham was born November 26, 1931 in Tulia to Merle and Myrtle Grantham. He grew up in Tulia and graduated Tulia High School in 1951. He served in the National Guard for two years. He married Clydell Carter on March 1, 1952 in Tulia. He started with Farm Bureau Insurance Agency as an insurance agent in 1959 and became a District Sales Manager in 1984. He retired in 1995. He is survived by his wife; Clydell Grantham of Tulia, one daughter; Carol Priddy of Tulia, two sons; Kelley Grantham of Lubbock, Randy Grantham and his wife Vicky of Tulia, three sisters; JoAnn Edwards of Tulia, Carmelita Brewer of Amarillo and Barbara McClurg of Tulia, four grandchildren; Jamie Lien of Quinlan, TX, Casie Grantham of San Antonio, Ryan Grantham of Tulia and Taylor Priddy of Tulia and four great grandchildren; Kyle Lien of Austin , Keaton Lien of Austin, Sydney Lien of Quinlan and Emma Grantham of San Antonio and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter; Mary Elizabeth Grantham, and one brother; Leslie Grantham.
