Tulia, Texas—Oscar Trevino, 62, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2007 in the Church of the Holy Spirit with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Rosary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2007 at the funeral home. Mr. Trevino was born January 10, 1945. He grew up in Lockney and attended schools there. He worked for High Plains Pavers for a number of years and he worked for Bridgestone/Firestone in Plainview for a few years. Survivors include his wife; Hope Rodriguez of Tulia, two sons; Rusty Trevino of Abilene and Jason Trevino of Plainview, two daughters; Melissa Hernandez of Plainview and Jennifer Trevino of Tulia, one step-daughter; Brenna Castillo of Tulia, two step-sons; Johnny Rodriguez of Plainview and Paul Castillo of Bruston, Tennessee, two sisters; Estafana Gatica of Lockney and Elma Fletcher of Amarillo, two brothers; Augustin Trevino and Abram Trevino, both of Dallas, five grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren.
